The seized drugs were destroyed by incineration at Ultratech Cement Plant, Vikram Nagar, Khor, (M.P.)

In spirit of 77 th Independence Day 🇮🇳 and in continuance of efforts against the drug menace, office of the Deputy Narcotics Commissioner, Central Bureau of Narcotics, Neemuch, today destroyed approximately 37.75 tons (377.52 quintals), of Narcotic Drugs seized in 5 cases made by CBN, MP Unit.
The seized drugs were destroyed by incineration at Ultratech Cement Plant, Vikram Nagar, Khor, (M.P.)
On 10.08.2022, 184.865 Kgs of Opium seized in 15 cases was disposed of by depositing in Government Opium and Alkaloid Works (GOAW), Neemuch, after conducting 52 A proceedings under NDPS Act, 1985.
Last month also on 28.07.23 office of the Deputy Narcotics Commissioner, Central Bureau of Narcotics, Neemuch, had destroyed approximately 14.8 tons (148 quintals), 27,689 tablets, and 21.3 litres of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic substances, seized in 14 cases made by CBN, MP Unit.
Seizure of 1000 Kg poppy straw in MP

The officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Neemuch (MP) in search and seizure operation in Hathipura village (Tehsil Singoli, Dist. Neemuch, MP) seized a total of 1083.150 Kg of Poppy Straw along with a unlicensed 12 Bore Gun with 23 live rounds and 2 empty cartridges and 38 live runds and one empty cartridge of 7.65 mm. Destruction of illicit cannabis (ganja) in Himachal Pradesh

Poppy Husk/Straw Seizure
Dated 28-05-2022, Gwalior
On 28-05-2022, two teams of officers from CBN, Gwalior successfully conducted seizure of 2302 Kg of Poppy Husk/Straw worth Rs. 50 Lakh from one truck detained at Chittora-Gwalior Road, Gwalior. The Driver of the truck number RJ-19-GE-3046 has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Officers from P&I Cell Kota and Jaipur under Rajasthan unit of Central Bureau of Narcotics successfully conducted seizure of 2225.100 Kg of Poppy Husk/Straw from one truck bearing number RJ 21 GA 5354 detained at Hingonia Toll Plaza, Jaipur (Raj). The Driver of the truck has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
